Elieta “Lita”
2012 Bay Holsteiner Mare 16.2 hands
Lita is by the famous Riverman out of Uniqueka (by Ariadus). Riverman has been named the USEF Eventing Sire of the Year 5 times, was honored with the USEF South Pacific Award (for the Top US-based Show Jumping Sire) 3 times, was on the WBFSH Sire Rankings List, and has sired Grand Prix Jumpers, Grand Prix Dressage Horses, Advanced Level Eventers, Advanced Level Driving Horses, and numerous successful Hunters. Uniqueka as a two year old was 3rd in the nation for the American Holsteiner Horse Association hunter breeding and was Reserve Champion Dressage Sporthorse Rocky Mountain Region. Ariadus is by Accord II (Ahorn) out of a Latus II (Landgraf/Laertes) mare. Ariadus’ granddam is the dam of CAPITOL, legendary sire from Holstein.
Lita has a wonderfully naturally balanced canter with a big step to make it easily down any line. She is brave to any fence you point her at. Her gait is nice and forward without being overly sensitive. Lita has a strong show record in the eventing arena and can easily carry on in that career or she will make a fancy hunter derby horse, a fun jumper or a beautiful dressage partner. Her USEF number is 5242041 and her USDF number is 1102564.
